IAEAexplainedthatthelevelsofradiationinthecountrywere“verysmall”andnotthreatfultohumanhealth.IAEAIncidentandEmergencyCentre / theseradiationlevelsfallsignificantlywithincreasingdistancefromthesiteofthefires.”BuglovaisreportedtobeinclosecontactwithauthoritiesinUkraine / wherethefireoutbreakcommencedearlierthismonth.IAEAnotedthattheStateNuclearRegulatoryInspectorateofUkraine(SNRIU)hasbeenregularlyprovidingupdatesaboutthefireattheNPPthroughIAEA’sUnifiedSystemforInformationExchangeinIncidentsandEmergencies(USIE).TheUkrainianauthoritiesoperateanetworkofradiationmonitoringstationsacrossthecountryandaroundtheChornobylNPP.On14 / SNRIUissaidtohaveprovidedalltheupdatesonIAEA’sUSIEaboutthemeasurementsofradiationlevelsintheair.Earlierthismonth / theUkrainianauthoritieshaveinformedIAEAthatthislevelofradiationintheairwillcontinuetobemonitored 查看更多
