hasissuedatenderfor150MWofsolarpower.Thecompanyhopestobuild20solarprojectsranginginsizefrom3MWto10MW.Thefacilitieswillbebuiltindifferentlocationsandeachofthemwillbeconnectedeachtodifferentgridsubstations.TheceilingpriceforthetenderisLKR15.60($0.086)/kWh.Theutilitysaidthat80%oftheproposedtariffwillbere-adjustedbasedonfluctuationsintheUSdollarexchangerate.PopularcontentInteresteddeveloperswillhavetimeuntilMay21tosubmittheirproposals.TheprojectswillbepartofthethirdphaseoftheSooryaBalaSangramaya(BattleforSolarEnergy)program.Thecountryhopestheschemewillhelpittoadd200MWofsolarbytheendofthisyearand1GWbytheendof2025.AccordingtoarecentjointstudybytheUNDevelopmentProgramme(UNDP / SriLanka’slargestelectricityprovider / SriLankahasthepotentialtodeploy16GWofsolarpower.Itaimstocoveritsentirepowerdemandwithrenewablesby2050 查看更多
